Most library locations have a separate Literacy Collection which includes books, CDs, and DVDs designed to help people learn to read and write or improve their reading and writing. Larger collections, such as that of the Literature and Language Department of the Harold Washington Library Center, also offer easy readers, including classics re-written at a lower reading level.
